Highlights from our first half of the year…

Welcome to “OutSpokin’” with VeloAtlanta. This is our inaugural newsletter to keep you abreast of VeloAtlanta happenings.

Accomplishments/News

Memberships: We have signed 21.Active Members. Membership is open until August 31st.

SBC ride highlights

We completed our first charity ride in over six years. We partnered with Sisters By Choice (SBC) and had our first ride in a few years.

Our SBC/VeloAtlanta “Pink Ribbon” ride was held on April 12, 2025. We had approximately 50 registered riders with routes of 25k and 50k. After expenses, we raised about $2,000. From the SBC coordinator, Lynda Mosley:

“It was a pleasure teaming up with Velo Atlanta Cycling.  Thank you for all of your contributions in supporting women and men impacted by breast cancer.

Financial Report

There hasn’t been any major purchases this quarter. Expenditures range from a tent purchase, State of Georgia registration, to re-establishing the VeloAtlanta website (VeloAtlanta.bike)

All income has com through new members and membership renewals. Please consider joining to help with VeloAtlanta initiatives.
